Let's Share! -- Who are You?

Happy Friday everyone!

The year has passed by to quickly and we're already in the last couple months of 2010. November, as we all know, is a time to be thankful. Our blessings make us realize how fortunate we are.

This year one thing I'm thankful for are my blog readers! Yes, that's right. Each and every one of you. You have shown me encouragement and support, you've challenged me to be better and delve deepers. You've cheered with me and prayed with me--you've witnessed me at my best and at my worst.

I could not have asked for better friends over the last year.

Then I came to realize...I don't know all of you that well. So, for this week's Let's Share!, how about we turn the tables. I want to get to know you! Share with us a thing or two about you and let's get to know each other better.

Have a FAB weekend!

  1. Hmmmm... Things you don't know about me. Well, I have 2 sons, Elias who is 6 and Orson who is 3. Elias is named for Willem Dafoe's character in Platoon, and Orson is named for (who else?) Orson Welles. I'm the manager of an art-house movie theatre in Wellington, New Zealand. I drink far too much coffee and love a glass of good red wine. When I was sixteen I had a purple mohawk.

    How's that?

  2. I'm not sure what you don't know about me. You know I'm a teacher, and obviously you know I'm a writer. A mother and a wife. How about that I have an unhealthy obsession with green olives?

  3. Katie, that's yucky! Green olives?

Thinks you don't know about me? I don't know. Did you know that I am probably one of a few writers who doesn't prefer chocolate? I think you know I'm a part-time CPA, a writer, wife, mother of two.

  5. Katie, I totally hear you about the olives! :)

Things you don't know about me:
I grew up in a funeral home.
I've survived getting lost in Costa Rica jungle/mountains.
    I play World of Warcraft.

That was harder than I thought. Usually when I answer that question, I tell people I'm a writer, or that I'm doing NaNoWriMo, but that's pretty much a given here.

Katie-- Yeah, I"m going with Heather on the olives thing. Yuck! lol...

Heather-- Okay, you have to do a redo, I knew all that stuff about you! :P

Jennie-- Of course you count! Esp if you just showed up today--it means I definitely don't know anything about you. Nice to meet you!

Reesha-- I used to play WoW, but hubby and I gave it up earlier this year b/c unlike most people we didn't like the big raids.

  7. Wow, interesting to learn about blogger friends. I am so thankful for them, too.

Let's see, you already know I'm a writer and a mother. I LOVE music and play the guitar, the violin, and I also sing. And green olives? :D Not so much!

  9. Hmm... You know a lot about me already, especially since you've been reading my blog. What do you not know? Like Katie, I love green olives, but I prefer black ones, especially in a Subway sandwich. And I never had a purple mohawk. Oh, and I loooove raspberry flavor. And maple flavor, of course, being Canadian.
